UPS would do *everything* possible before sending out a mechanic on a road call. Remember, it makes automotive look bad. I was once instructed by automotive to climb under my package car and try to bypass the solenoid to start my broke down PC. All I had was one of the old stainless banker's clips used to hold down the paper on our old delivery records. Sparks flew all over me and actually melted a piece of the clip. I couldn't get out from under the PC fast enough. Last time I ever did something like that. There is a reason we wear brown and the mechanics wear blue. I drive 'em, I don't work on 'em.
