The sad thing is that even though it probably doesn’t meet UPS shipping standards, they’ll most likely pay it because of the bad publicity it’s created.The old rule was they should be able to withstand being dropped from waist height.
That was a bit excessive but they should still be able to handle a drop of a foot or two.
