When I got a new Workhorse P-1000 the doors were so out of alignment you could barely open and close them. I would write it up and all the mechanic could do was lube it with beeswax.
I always write "in case of injury". Things get fixed for some reason when you do that?

I would write up things as a safety issue and that forced the mechanic to at least write why things aren't fixed. Often I had to keep writing it up again and again to get anything done.

If I wrote something up for several days and I knew it was an easy fix, but the mechanic just didn't do it, I'd write in big letters 1st request, 2nd request, etc. Mechanic said dont do that, but I noticed it got fixed quicker.
