Here the country roads are kept pretty clear. Unless its a very heavy snow or have bad drifting. County or township does those roads. Around here the county and the townships are obligated to have the roads plowed within 72 hours of a snow storm. Usually its way less than that but I have seen instances where we had a major snow storm and the city streets weren't all plowed for a week. The State does an excellent job keeping up with the snow but IF its a major blizzard they will pull the plows off and shut down the highways.
Definitely not presidential.
