This is a word for word article that every state athletic association has been distributing.
I don’t believe “parents” / fans have changed at all. In fact fans behave better overall

What has happened is we have a generation of young folks who cannot take criticism at all. So what’s their answer? Quit.
I mean honestly why as an official would you care at all what someone in the stands is saying? Your job is on the court. Pay attention to that and do your job.
