Most are people who didn't make it through medical school. They have some medical training but not real doctors. My wife was a nurse and hated them with a passion.

My chiropractor is a hot little blonde. She snapped my neck just 2 weeks ago and it felt great. My neck always seems to be the place that needs work. The rest is usually pretty aligned.
