I just read today that the Dodge Ram has passed the Chevy Silverado as the 2nd most sold vehicle after the Ford F150--due to the strike. I am all pro union but those UAW workers have had some pretty sweet contracts over the years. What are they asking for this time? To grow beards?

GM wants more temp workers and for workers to pay 15% of their healthcare (they currently pay 3%).

Considering GM made over 10 billion last year I don’t think the workers should have to give up anything.

I wonder what they get in strike pay now? Years ago during a UAW strike the workers got 100% of their weekly pay up to 26 weeks.
