My kids always seem to get sick when wife is on a business trip. I’ll get three hours sleep tops, then have to go to the hellhole and empty a truck. Fun stuff.

I remember when my youngest was about 6 and and got sick. I was out of days and HAD to go to work. Her dad wouldn’t watch her, so out of desperation I let her stay with my BFF’s boyfriend all day. I stressed all day about that. Before that I had never left my child with just anyone like that. All I could imagine all day was what could go wrong.
