I don’t know why people would go.

I was planning on calling in and going to state for our boys but I’m not paying $300 to sit in a hotel and hang out with 2 kids.

A dog with hair long enough to need brushing is OK. One that needs to go to a groomer? No.

I've always had a dog. Longest I've been without one is about 6 or 7 months

My first experience with schnauzer grooming was $5.00 . That should tell you how old I am and how cheap Idaho was!!

Schnauzers don't shed!!!! They have other stuff. They need to be groomed with that "racing stripe". Infected and stinky ears can be a problem with them.

No need to scream. That's what Op was saying. She'd rather deal with grooming costs and stinky ears than a dog that sheds.

I’m very much aware that they don’t shed, hence the need for grooming.
