Get real. You were fired and you actually think UPS will hire you back? I've never heard of anyone leaving on good terms and getting rehired, let alone someone that was fired.

I quit in 1978 to take a class that conflicted with my work schedule. I got rehired 5 months later.

Oh. I've not heard of someone getting rehired, but I learn something new every day. I guess leaving on good terms may be a bit different than getting the boot.
