I'd already been retired for 13 years by the time I hit 66 years old.
Live a life we both can be proud of rod….when I’m long dead and gone and you are reaching into the 110’s don’t forget us upsers who couldn’t even make it into their 60’s…don’t forget Rod…never forget.

I have NOT been lurking

Eat. Sleep. Work. Jork.
My local is subsidizing the Central pension also. And, yes mine is 500 lower also.

We all saw the big increase in are pension before contract vote but in reality It was all bs.I am looking to retire in Feb 2024 so I call UPS retirement to find out exactly how much I would receive. Thinking it would be a big increase with the new contract boy was I wrong 30 years of service and my pension increased $16.25 a month just a little off what the teamster was posting before the vote.
I’m sorry to inform you that with the time we put in and wear/tear. The compensation given is not commensurate. That is why we have to pass on info to each other while on this journey.

Curious, what are you doing for healthcare?

I had been retired for 17 years at the age of 66. I now have 25 years and 7 months of relaxation and stress free life. only 4 years and 5 months to go until I have my 30 years of life back that I spent at UPS.
