You make very good points brotherI can see a work stoppage if we all got put on the C6 plan but not striking when considering this economic and political climate, the enhanced plan we have, and the money we make. Look and see where the company is making the largest margin of their profit. Is it in domestic bargaining unit work? No.
So keep being angry, it's ok because it keeps people on their toes but without a majority backing you're looking like you're out of thorazine.
I'm not a fan of how the last CBA was handled but we have to look ahead...ready to fight for our futures and pensions and we'll hold leadership accountable.
You bike won't get stolen twice. In the meantime try to appreciate what you do have because it's a lot better than most of your friends and neighbors have.
Its common knowledge that under this leadership every single contract has had more concessions than the last one.
I can't take another sip of the watered Down iced t. I'm to the point where I would just trash the iced t.
I know that we are the golden Childs of the teamsters. The cream of the crop but honestly does any one work as hard as us ?
Does anyone else have to live with the torture given out by the brown sword. I admit we make great money. Remember the sup used to say "quit and we have 1000 ppl waiting in line to do your job ". I believe that to be no longer true. I know plenty of people who left the truck in the parking lot on their first day and took an uber home. These are friends who said "I worked for the post office, ups can't be as bad as there ".
The guy lasted a few days at the most. Told me I was right. Ups is the hardest job he ever did. I told him "did you think we get paid 35 an hour to go out and drive around and chill ?"
