Contract leader O'brien

I can see a work stoppage if we all got put on the C6 plan but not striking when considering this economic and political climate, the enhanced plan we have, and the money we make. Look and see where the company is making the largest margin of their profit. Is it in domestic bargaining unit work? No.

So keep being angry, it's ok because it keeps people on their toes but without a majority backing you're looking like you're out of thorazine.

I'm not a fan of how the last CBA was handled but we have to look ahead...ready to fight for our futures and pensions and we'll hold leadership accountable.

You bike won't get stolen twice. In the meantime try to appreciate what you do have because it's a lot better than most of your friends and neighbors have.
You make very good points brother
Its common knowledge that under this leadership every single contract has had more concessions than the last one.
I can't take another sip of the watered Down iced t. I'm to the point where I would just trash the iced t.

I know that we are the golden Childs of the teamsters. The cream of the crop but honestly does any one work as hard as us ?
Does anyone else have to live with the torture given out by the brown sword. I admit we make great money. Remember the sup used to say "quit and we have 1000 ppl waiting in line to do your job ". I believe that to be no longer true. I know plenty of people who left the truck in the parking lot on their first day and took an uber home. These are friends who said "I worked for the post office, ups can't be as bad as there ".
The guy lasted a few days at the most. Told me I was right. Ups is the hardest job he ever did. I told him "did you think we get paid 35 an hour to go out and drive around and chill ?"

I got a whole local that's angry. I'm going to hold up your raise again
FACT.
I PROMISE YOU
FACT
Dude I'm gonna be making 36.29 an hour as of 2/1/18. You can hold that raise up for the entire 5 years for all I care. If you do hold it up there will be some very angry Teamsters at you though. See most of them aren't contributing 14% into their 401k like me. They aren't putting 180 a week into the Teamsters credit union either. They don't have a 15 year mortgage on a house I built in 2004.

In a sick way part of me want to watch you do just that. Hold it up. God will people hate you. See you hate yourself so I'd say you like it.

So this leads me to my theory that YOU are just like Isis. I can't believe you served our country. Now you are just like the people that are called ISIS.

I'm fine with my career Choice.
You will never get a chance to eat dinner with your family.
FACT

You want to get me going ?
You don't have a family fact, but if you did how are you eating dinner with them starting work everyday at 5:15 pm? Not that that's a bad job and all but it's not like you work bankers hours.

With this logic somehow I've made it 25 years. I must be John Rambo or something.

@anHOURover ,
I'm just messing with you but not serious. I appreciate your service to the country if you served. I appreciate your energy in holding to your beliefs and believe that how you vote is your right. The rooster issue is a bit crass so I lob it back at you. Fight for what you believe and the vote count will settle it again. There's a lot of people who are not happy and if the reasons are valid I bet those issues will probably be addressed if the IBT leadership doesn't want the same fiasco as last time.

We have a right to voice our beliefs but we just need to do it do it respectfully.

You've obviously never been a roofer in the middle of July. You've never been a laborer for a mason have you? If you think we work the hardest, I'm confident that UPS has been your only source. If you make great money at 35 hours a week on a 22.3 job, I must be killing it.

Thanks brother

You have no clue because you didn't have the company plan taken Off you. You should thank me for putting up a fight so everyone could get the benefits I had for my whole career. Your welcome brother

I won't thank you for something I don't believe in. I'll bet you don't even have any idea what kind of benefits are out there. Did you know that if you were still under company benefits that you would be taxed for those benefits in the next year or two? The Union plans have a waiver until 2025 and I'm sure they are working to make it permanent. You are not realistic.

There has to be something in the water.... in Philly.

Remember this one ??

"Morris used union money to purchase two shotguns, 20 stun guns, pepper spray, boxes of combat fatigues and boots, two cars, two campers and five buses, which he stored on rented property five miles from union headquarters.

These purchases were in preparation for what Morris describes as war, according to a statement by the Washington-based union, signed by President James P. Hoffa."

It's goofballs like @anHOURover, that make organizing such a "tuff nut to crack".

What is his experience (doing anything) to advance the "cause" of Labor Unions ??

He is all about "me".

-Bug-

Hour makes no sense to me-but there are others who are cautious yet still are willing to READ proposals prior to voting and give their input. It seems that hour is blinded by his hate. Perhaps he'd be better off becoming a sup at UPS...

I get this thrown in my face all the time. I followed my leadership and championed Team Care. Now I get my cookies busted every time a member has problems with his health insurance. I don't come in once every two weeks I am there every day. Fact is it is not as good ! But........... a lot better off than plans outside the Brown bubble. It is the reason I work a second job for the last 19 years. Was the best now good health insurance. Morale of the story make sure you vote and be informed.
