Just how communists roll. @rickyb ’s outbreak plan is to mass distribute bananas and pineapples from the collective farms.

You plug your mouth with the unpeeled banana and cover the rest of your face with pineapple slices.
i will force feed them tacos which is almost what they do at guantanamo bay, and with that act we will save the planet and embark on a weight loss regime, plus save money

It will be fine

CDC isn't quarantining a city of 11 million and building hospitals to contain the flu. There is no vaccine for this virus and it's just getting started. Spreading faster than SARS. Not exactly something we should be taking lightly.
Exactly. The flu is more communicable, more prevalent and more deadly. This new virus is nothing special. It’s a tool to scare people.

Except you don't know just how virulent this virus is because a state controlled media is only saying what the Communist Party wants it to say. They have never quarantined so many people so quickly so as a clue I'd say they are taking this very seriously. Flu is obviously much more prevalent because it has been around for a long time. That has also allowed the general population to develop a bit of immunity to it. Most deaths from the flu are from the elderly and very young. If the Chinese government thinks more than 50 million people should be in lockdown than I think it should be taken seriously until it runs it's course.

Does anyone question the timing of making this virus known ?
China signs new trade agreement with the USA .
The leader of China does not go to the official signing, a lessor known is sent instead.
The media has been hyping this new crisis as the biggest story of the century.
IMHO, I think the media wants to spread fear.
Fear draws in viewers.

White House task force on coronavirus another example of Trump administration's lack of diversity - CNNPolitics

"It's a statement that's as predictable as it is infuriating: President Donald Trump's administration lacks diversity.

On Tuesday, Trump tweeted photos of a briefing he'd received on the new coronavirus spreading out of China.

"We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments," the President said in his post. "We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!"

Who are these experts? They're largely the same sorts of white men (and a couple women on the sidelines) who've dominated the Trump administration from the very beginning.

By contrast, former President Barack Obama's circle of advisers in the face of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa was hardly so monochromatic. Neither was it so abysmal in terms of gender diversity. (Of course, to contextualize, Obama's administration, on the whole, was far more diverse than Trump's.)

And yet, as unsurprising as the diversity issue in the Trump era has become, it's still worth pointing out from time to time, especially as the country approaches the 2020 presidential election in earnest.

That's partly because the recent photos of "the best experts" telegraph the kinds of people the administration deems worthy of holding power -- and even being in close proximity to it.

They communicate a "patronage network that everyone is operating under," as Eric Yellin, an associate professor of history and American studies at the University of Richmond, told The Washington Post last year, about a different set of photos. "Having that network be interracial is really important."

But the visuals that have come to define the Trump administration say something else, too. They signal which people in a multi-racial, half-female country Trump values the opinions of: mostly white men who are mirror images of the President himself."

Tucker Carlson, Trump Jr. mock CNN for story about lack of diversity on administration's coronavirus task force

"Speaking of viruses, wokeness is a virus," Carlson said Thursday night on his Fox News show. "It's infectious, it destroys your brain. You are watching it happen to people all around you, certainly on the left, some running for president, many working at CNN. You wind up writing stuff like that once you're infected. Totally insane."

CNN blasted for condemning Trump's coronavirus task force for its 'lack of diversity'

"So just to get this straight, CNN is objecting to a task force designed to stop an epidemic by focusing on...ethnic diversity?" Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro asked.

"Your Trump hatred at CNN is a real cancer to our body politic. This means absolutely nothing in terms of being able to stop a deadly virus. I'm pretty sure the #coronavirus doesn't care that this room isn't 'diverse,'" NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck reacted.

"If Trump used an executive order to deploy resources for research that cured coronavirus, CNN would publish editorials on his 'authoritarian tendencies in addressing public health,'" radio show host Buck Sexton tweeted."

Not a single transgendered gay Muslim undocumented immigrant midget on the coronavirus task force.
Shameful racism.

I find that the title alone is thought provoking....If all Blacks & Hispanics & Asians were named to the Virus Board, Trump would still be called racist. He's damned either way!
