yea worrying all the time paralyzes you with fear from even getting perspective

Sorry, Bubba. I'm old enough to know that communism has had a far worse history and results than the alternative. Going to plant some tomatoes in CHOP wouldn't change my perspective on it.

maybe time to get more perspective.
I went and got some perspective. Visited 5 formerly communist countries. Was told how little they had under communism. How much better things are now but they have a long way to go. Guess what Ricky, people want to have things. They don't want to suffer. You think you suffer because you have to work for someone who's doing better than you. You don't have a clue.

That's what you don't get. Capitalists do what it takes to keep the money rolling in. If the public's tastes change then corporations change with it or die. Was reading about cultured meat the other day, also known as lab grown meat. Researchers at Harvard have developed a way to add texture to it so that it very much tastes like the real deal. A sample taken from a live cow can turn out a lot of hamburgers. Literally could very soon do away with huge herds of livestock. One guy likened it to going from the horse-and-cart to automobiles. That big of a change. Methane from livestock is supposed to be one of the biggest contributors to global warming. The thing is Ricky when the Soviet Union was at it's height you never heard of great innovations coming from them. It was the West, especially the U.S., that pushed mankind forward. And why was that? Among other things, the chance to get wealthy from their efforts. And that provides jobs. People want to achieve and succeed, not be told what to do by some government entity. I hope someday you'll realize this.
