Drove 350+ miles in a car and gas supplied by Teamsters. Who cares if you see a BA. They don’t do anything.
Of course it should be supplied by the teamsters.

And no. He got a driver his job back when he was in, and worked out a game plan with the stewards to prevent the company from utilizing seasonal drivers before part timers on the preload on Mondays. (Essentially going to be getting a lot of lower seniority preloaders double time.)

So no. They do plenty.

Got a driver his job back. Probably a situation where 95% of union members want the guy out! Just because he got his job back, doesn’t mean it’s a good thing!

I’m an American, of course I want more money. Grocery prices have increased more than the “raise” we just got. Drop union dues for 3 months. Carole should give up her pay, and pull Abneys pension!
You're a little confused.

The union has nothing to do with our CEOs pay. Nor do they control Abney's pension.

My local has increased its strike fund to the largest we have ever had. That puts us in a stronger position next contract. Union dues are important.

Also, my raise was 5.7%. So I'm fairly satisfied with it, thanks.

You are raving.

The driver got into an accident, and was being targeted by management. His coworkers like him fine.
Good job determining it was a bad thing without having any context whatsoever.

So, you want the union to work for free, but you can't live on the monies that we make? Me me me me me me me. I see.

Why not just take everyone's pay/pension away from people that make more than you? You could get even a bigger raise than.

14.8 / 14 = 1.057.

Which is a raise of 5.7%.

How's that college education working out for ya? :)

Yep.
I get to work basically all the hours I want, get paid double time on Mondays, and have almost my entire day free.

Life is good.
Congratulations on your $16.00 a week raise. You’re rich! Go buy that special person someone roses and celebrate. Nevermind, you didn’t get a big enough raise. Double time on Mon. only when available, and it also means you’re working 6 day weeks. You’re not getting double time either on Mon. Youre getting time and a half.

I got nothing to prove.
If making fun of someone for making less money than you makes you feel big, then go for it, I guess. Lol.

I'm happy with where I'm at, so I don't really care what you think. :)
