They don't teach civics or social studies to these kids anymore. They are completely ignorant about how our system of government works.

I’m an old school student. The President is the most powerful man in the US, not the 50 governors.Don't waste your time.

The 2.2 million figure was a projection based on a scenario where not only do the government and private companies not engage in any "control measures," but individuals don't on their own change their behavior to avoid contracting or spreading the virus.
It’s now looking like the lockdowns may have been a huge mistake
Were lockdowns a mistake? To that nagging question, the answer increasingly seems to be yes. Certainly, they were a novelty. As novelist Lionel Shriver writes, “We’ve never before responded to a co…nypost.com

193,305 dead Americans. 4.469+million infected. Coronavirus cases are up in 22 states in the US in the last two weeks. Many of the states are southern or midwestern. The state of SD saw a 126% increase in infections over two weeks ago. We are all aware of what happens now, more deaths.
Welcome back! I knew you wouldn’t stay away.Hey guys, we need to take it easy on jumpinjack. He's doing the best he can trying to make sense of a cruel, senseless world. It has to be that much harder for him, having an untreated mental illness. If he needs to feel like the winner of a thread on an internet forum to have some stability in his life, it would be unkind of us to keep taking that away from him.
Welcome back! I knew you wouldn’t stay away.
Not as much as you missed me and my thread. I’m addicting.Did you miss me?
Population densityYou do realize that the State with the most COVID-19 cases per capita right now is Louisiana? And the State with the most COVID-19 cases overall is California? You want to take a guess as to whether these States have a Democrat or Republican for a governor?
And you're also about posting total numbers, ignoring everything else. Of the top 10 states with the most COVID-19 cases, half of these States have Democratic Governors. Even per capita rates, while it varies week to week, almost half, 4 out of 10 States with the highest per capita rates, are Democrats.
So I guess the Blue States have also failed the US.
It’s headed your way! Make your peace with your eldersIt is being reported that cases and deaths are both down and going in the right direction. I am trying to prove why nobody takes you seriously and your continued narrative of the world coming to an end with millions dying from Covid is just not true. But you keep doing you as only you can do you... Cheers!
Not as much as you missed me and my thread. I’m addicting.
I repeat a President has more power than a Governor.
When you start writing books, you have no point.
A President has more power than a Governor.

From the article ---- “We’ve never before responded to a contagion by closing down whole countries.” As I’ve noted, the 1957-58 Asian flu killed between 70,000 and 116,000 Americans, between 0.04 percent and 0.07 percent of the nation’s population. The 1968-70 Hong Kong flu killed about 100,000, 0.05 percent of the population. It’s now looking like the lockdowns may have been a huge mistake

These clowns have no idea what kind of corner they have backed themselves into should they win in November. From the article ---- “We’ve never before responded to a contagion by closing down whole countries.” As I’ve noted, the 1957-58 Asian flu killed between 70,000 and 116,000 Americans, between 0.04 percent and 0.07 percent of the nation’s population. The US coronavirus death toll of 186,000 is 0.055 percent of the current population. It will go higher, but it’s about the same magnitude as those two flus, and it has been less deadly to those under 65 than the flus were. Yet there were no statewide lockdowns; no massive school closings; no closings of office buildings and factories, restaurants and museums. No one considered shutting down Woodstock. -----
Kamala Harris said that she would not trust Donald Trump’s word on the safety of any coronavirus vaccine approved for use in America before the November election. Now, you know for sure it is all about politics, what a horrible selection for VP.

Yea, his 3rd grade education is showing, but he keeps embarrassing himself and coming back for more. I kind of feel sorry for him, but he doesn't know when to quit.
