I'm asking you or @Brownslave688 what the big deal is?
That's not what the link said. Try again...Because before any positive on the PCR test was considered an active case. Now, if It's detected above 30 (or 35?) CT it has to be confirmed with both another type of test and a clinical diagnosis. No more drive through and done. That means reported cases will plummet. The federal cash spigot for hospitals and clinics is getting turned way down.
Also means they know the case counts have been inflated the whole time.
Orly? That's not what the link said. Try again...
You are cherry picking one paragraph. Btw if you believe a large portion of positive are false positives, the virus would be more deadly than reported.Orly?
"WHO guidance Diagnostic testing for SARS-CoV-2 states that careful interpretation of weak positive results is needed (1). The cycle threshold (Ct) needed to detect virus is inversely proportional to the patient’s viral load. Where test results do not correspond with the clinical presentation, a new specimen should be taken and retested using the same or different NAT technology."
I know it doesn't specify a particular cycle threshold, there is plenty of other literature that supports 30 CT.
The added scrunity required to determine an active infection will necessarily lead to fewer reported cases, which means cases have been over-reported, and by as much as 90% as reported by the New York Times months and months ago.
That’s the best part. The New York Times covered this in the summer and it just got swept away.Orly?

The best part is someone who claims his wife is in the healthcare industry is trying to downplay a pandemic. LolThat’s the best part. The New York Times covered this in the summer and it just got swept away.

Users of IVDs must read and follow the IFU carefully to determine if manual adjustment of the PCR positivity threshold is recommended by the manufacturer.

WHO reminds IVD users that disease prevalence alters the predictive value of test results; as disease prevalence decreases, the risk of false positive increases (2). This means that the probability that a person who has a positive result (SARS-CoV-2 detected) is truly infected with SARS-CoV-2 decreases as prevalence decreases, irrespective of the claimed specificity.
Most PCR assays are indicated as an aid for diagnosis, therefore, health care providers must consider any result in combination with timing of sampling, specimen type, assay specifics, clinical observations, patient history, confirmed status of any contacts, and epidemiological information.
The article does not mention deaths attributed to Covid-19. But that's not what you are focused on. LolFalse positive rates would apply to deaths as well. I wouldn't call it cherry-picking. The rest of the information doesn't change the part that I focused on, which was the important part, it only affirms and supports the interpretation.
Some people realize how blown up it’s all been. Including MANY in the healthcare field. No one is saying it’s not real. Just that data is being manipulated to tell the story they want it to tell. The best part is someone who claims his wife is in the healthcare industry is trying to downplay a pandemic. Lol

Come down to SoCal and see how blown out of proportion it is. You are ing troll. Some people realize how blown up it’s all been. Including MANY in the healthcare field. No one is saying it’s not real. Just that data is being manipulated to tell the story they want it to tell.
Perfect example was the two maps of the USA that I posted. One with a big headline. Where cases are growing the fastest. Except that’s not what the chart showed at all. The chart showed cases per 100k people. Nothing to do with growth rate.
The other map showed the actual growth percentages over the previous week and instead of bright red it was 90%. Showing that case numbers have been shrinking. Not growing.
Smh of course regionally some areas will be worse than others. My 4 year old has more common sense than you. Off to bed.Come down to SoCal and see how blown out of proportion it is. You are *ing troll.
Regionally. If everyone lived in the boonies. LolSmh of course regionally some areas will be worse than others. My 4 year old has more common sense than you. Off to bed.
740 dead in California today. Is that overblown?Smh of course regionally some areas will be worse than others. My 4 year old has more common sense than you. Off to bed.
90%? Lol wtf are you smoking? It doesn't matter. It is the logical extension of the information provided. We already know up to 90% of positives were false. We also know that only 6% of deaths, at the time, were attributed only to covid. We are unlikely to ever know the real numbers, but it's clear that they've been inflated. At least some deaths that were caused by covid would have been avoided if the FDA didn't withhold approval for more testing for alternative therapies. Either we have incompetent public health officials, or the mishandling of the response to the pandemic, and the misreporting of numbers, was done on purpose.
Good, Good740 dead in California today. Is that overblown?
Well, we know Pepe hates Americans.Good, Good
