Same reason why I don’t take aspirin, and I don’t get the flu vaccine - I can deal with a headache or the flu (if I catch it). I don’t like taking medication unless it’s necessary. I’ll take a vaccine if I the illness is serious enough to warrant it. Not to take away from those who died or lost family/friends. But there are treatments available. We are not going to be able to eradicate this virus. It’s none of your business if I want to or don’t want to. Whether or not you get vaccinated should be a private matter between you and your doctor.

Nobody ever asked me if I thought we should spend all that tax money on developing a vaccine. I would’ve told you before hand I’m not taking it.

You don't know that the odds of suffering from the virus are higher than suffering from the vaccine.

For people of relatively healthy body weight, who don't have an AARP card, the virus isn't dangerous hardly at all. The vaccine is a total unknown.

And note that I stipulated that I was speaking of height-weight proportionate people who are not old.

People who are under 65, and not fat, are at almost no risks, and you will have a hard time finding any meaningful deaths among them.

I do believe the vaccine is safer than the virus if you're old and fat.
