If you're going to look at restricting workers then look at China. In the U.S. workers are free to come and go as they please. Workers are free to vote with their feet, obtaining work elsewhere that pays better. What you want is a guarantee that the worker gets a certain amount of pay and generous benefits no matter where he works. Most companies can't afford that and it'll never happen.
does 5 weeks paid vacation count as generous benefits? every other western country besides north america and japan do it.

no i mean free to move and work across borders....like capital currently enjoys.

If you want to move across borders then fly to Mexico, come to the U.S. border with no documentation and speak Spanish.

You do realize that most countries protect the jobs of their citizens by restricting non-citizens from coming in and taking those jobs for less pay?

The EU is essentially like the U.S. in terms of we can move freely from state to state within the greater national border. Try to move to the E.U. if you aren't already a citizen of a E.U. member state. The rule is 90 days in, 90 days out within a 180 day period. You have to apply for special visas to remain within a particular country within the E.U. longer and unless you obtain residency you won't be able to move freely to other countries within the E.U.

No, you're not getting it. You can move freely if you are an E.U. citizen between those E.U. countries just like if you are an American citizen you can move freely through U.S. states. But if you, a Canadian citizen, traveled to the E.U. you can only stay 90 out of 180 days. If you travel to the U.S. I believe you get up to 6 months.

Meanwhile at home in Georgia, the annual fair was open today with children running around having fun and none were wearing masks!

I feel so sorry for kids in states run by Democrats!

I did find it funny that in a county with 60% Blacks, only a couple of Black children were at the fair ... WTF?

biden probably wont get high marks for corona anyways, he encouraged ppl to vote in person during hte pandemic.
High marks? No marks. Zero reporting. It's invisible. CNN dropped its body count reporting once Biden took over. Wonder why?

But the free movement you speak of works in the same way. And the EU has a federal government in Brussels. So they're essentially the United States of Europe. Did you notice how difficult it was for the U.K. to extricate itself from it?
