Quick question for drivers. Do you guys care if the hin number is written on the box? I recently found out how much of a waste of time it is and have been simply verifying the adress and placing the package on the shelf.

When I was a preloader, I would write the HIN on the side of the boxes to help me keep the packages in order on the shelf. I did it knowing that the drivers wouldn't use what I wrote.

If it's a 2532, and you just get it on the 2000 shelf, I'm fine with that.

What I do hate is having to stop the truck at 1300 hours and check for misloads.

If another employee had to come to my area and check every stop for a misdelivery, I would be fired for incompetence.
