1) You probably won't get paid for Thanksgiving (depending on Local).
2) If you are worried about "instances", then you probably have too many as it is.
3) Because it's a Local issue, you are better off to call your union hall and ask your business agent. Every building is run differently.

You may as well resign now.
One you book off on Wednesday and don't book back on till the following Monday. Also depending on your supplement you might or might not get paid for the holidays ( Thursday , Friday ). If your in New England area you would get paid if you worked either Monday ir Tuesday or any day the week before the holiday.

Southern is the day before OR the day after has to be worked to be paid for the holiday.
