Now are you starting to piece it together? Trump was the true threat to the establishment, to government doing whatever it wanted. The "protesters" were a smoke and mirror, razzle dazzle lame attempt at the establishment trying to make people think they cared about the people.
Even the real protests were co-opted through media narrative to be about getting Trump out of office, because people still believe the media lie "good people on both sides" meant Trump was a white supremacist. I still see people making that claim based on that eidted sound bite.
