He was just given endless opportunities to screw up bc he was rich
I don't recall the germans giving him any breaks for his richness when he fought in World War II
he wasnt voted into office because he was rich and voters wanted a rich guy.
and the kennedys who I'm sure you like more were a heck of a lot richer

are you throwing crap against the wall and hoping something sticks?

When reagan left office he was extremely unpopular, us was worlds leading creditor state when he started, and wen he finished it was worlds leading debtor, he had biggest financial crisis since the depression, killed 100,000s around the world

His fake legacy is the trait of a totalitarian state
Who told you this? Were you even born yet? When Reagan left office in January 1989 he was extremely popular. We didn't have the huge partisanship we have now. Millions of Democrats voted for Reagan. Made it easy for Bush to win and the only reason Bush lost in '92 was Ross Perot ran and split the vote. Clinton literally backed into the presidency. And did.such stupid things his first two years that the Republicans won both houses in the midterms for the first time in 40 years. No president is perfect but Reagan was never "extremely unpopular." Might be the stupidest thing you've ever lied about. And that's saying something.

Ronald Reagan's approval rating when he left office in January 1989 was 63%, according to Gallup polls

Several factors contributed to this shift:
  1. Trade Imbalances: Starting in the 1970s and accelerating in the 1980s, the U.S. began running persistent trade deficits. Imports, particularly from Japan and other emerging economies, outpaced exports. This was driven by strong domestic consumption, a rising dollar value, and increasing global competition in manufacturing.
  2. Dollar Strength and Reaganomics: The policies of the Reagan administration in the early 1980s—tax cuts, increased military spending, and deregulation—boosted domestic demand and attracted foreign capital. The Federal Reserve’s high interest rates to combat inflation also strengthened the dollar, making U.S. imports cheaper and exports less competitive. This widened the trade gap.
  3. Foreign Investment in the U.S.: The strong dollar and high interest rates made U.S. assets, like Treasury bonds, attractive to foreign investors. Foreign capital flowed in to finance the growing federal budget deficits (also fueled by Reagan-era spending). This influx of foreign money effectively flipped the U.S. from lending abroad to borrowing from abroad.
  4. Decline in Savings Rate: American households and the government saved less during this period. With lower domestic savings, the U.S. relied on foreign capital to fund investment and consumption, deepening its debtor status.
  5. Global Economic Shifts: Post-World War II, the U.S. had been a creditor by rebuilding Europe and Japan (e.g., via the Marshall Plan). By the 1980s, those nations had recovered, becoming economic powerhouses that exported goods to the U.S. and invested heavily in American markets.

I think your assessment is the only thing fake.
Oh @Ricky where we at . Are you offering any retractions from your lies. I though you said you dont like lies?

who? HW Bush was a decorated war hero in WWII. what planet are you on?
he was an 18 year old kid flying fighter planes

George H.W. Bush served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He enlisted on his 18th birthday in 1942 and became one of the youngest naval aviators at the time. Bush flew a Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bomber and was assigned to the USS San Jacinto as part of VT-51

George H.W. Bush earned the following medals for his military service in the U.S. Navy during World War II:
  • Distinguished Flying Cross: Awarded for heroism and extraordinary achievement during a bombing mission over Chichijima on September 2, 1944, where he completed his run despite his plane being hit by enemy fire.
  • Air Medal with two gold stars: Received three Air Medals total for meritorious service in aerial combat across his 58 missions.
  • Presidential Unit Citation: Awarded to the crew of the USS San Jacinto, his aircraft carrier, for its collective valor and effectiveness in the Pacific Theater.
  • American Campaign Medal: For service in the American Theater during the war.
  • Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal: For his service in the Pacific, likely with campaign stars for specific engagements.
  • World War II Victory Medal: Given to all U.S. military personnel who served during the war.

ok but you're jumping all over the place . we're talking about reagan / bush and then you jump to the son two decades later . and you're calling him by his middle initial which in this case covers both Bushs.
you can call them whatever you want but no one will know what the heck you're talking about if you dont use the name theyre known by.

you've been around long enough where you should understand that.

49% job approval is good for most presidents. And check how his likeability was perceived. He was extremely popular as a person. You said he was extremely unpopular.

Ross Perot got 19% of the vote. Almost all if which would've gone to Bush. I was there, you weren't. You can only regurgitate what Leftists haters say.
