What kind insane person wears sneakers doing this sort of job? Boots all the way. Nike ACGs and good insoles.

I wear sneakers in the summer time.

Agree about the shoes. And replace them every 8 mos to a year.

I can only get 3-6 months out of a pair of shoes. If I had to go 8-12 I would be crippled.

I found a brand on amazon called David archy. They have a cutout to keep the twig separate from the berries. Not to mention the berries sort of have their own mesh bag. I wear them all year but are great in the summer to combat chaffing.

When your hubby gets to feeders, he can make a pair of sketchers last 5 years but because he is in package car, 5 months at the most.

I replace them every summer when the sole is worn and then make them my 'not work' shoe. I work in Minnesota so I wear boots for winter, otherwise I'd go through 2 pair a year. When I was in the hub, I always wore Red Wing steel toes...usually lasted 2 years.
