Punch to punch, no more than 14 hours. Lunch counts towards your daily hours.
True. Technically, we can't work the next day if we go over 14 because we are not allowed to change our start time. (Your building MAY allow that, I suppose)
Yup, I kinda thought some buildings might allow this, ours does not.You can work as long as you have satisfied the 10 hour rule and, yes, changing your start time is a valid option.

(But I also know if we're a few minutes over, we can keep our mouths shut and just punch in a few minutes late)
Especially if it's only a matter of minutes.I would much rather do that than take a dead day.
Not really there's 1 answer. Start time. That simple.get ready for about 10 different answers
The wife?If I'm on the clock 14 hours....guess who isn't going to work tomorrow?
Did they give a message to come in? I can't bring stuff back unless they tell me to.Ok, since my other example is obviously not clear, go out and work 15hrs and take an hour lunch. Lets see who gets a warning letter and possible fine.
Is the law hours worked or hours paid?So... the DOT looks at how many hours you worked for that week? Would I be able to use an option day without violating any rules? The option day will ADD hours, but they aren't real hours that I worked

Should be considered the golden rule at UPS.If I'm on the clock 14 hours....guess who isn't going to work tomorrow?
Sorry, LUNCH DOES count towards your 14 for the day!!!You count from your start time until you punch out. You don't include your lunch. Yes, start counting.
