No, I'm not trying to impress anyone. Most people on this forum are consumers and not producers. I was only trying to represent that side of the equation. My wife and I own and operate a tax and insurance escrow analysis company in the mid-west.

I'm a RPCD and have been full time since 1994. My wife has been the industry since graduating college and we had an opportunity to buyout the ownership back in the late 90s. She runs the business and I'm involved part time with bookkeeping and account servicing.

Can't really fight you there. A construction company produces a home, but they only truly provide the labor.

The 2017 Tax cuts are ending soon, 2023 saw reductions for certain capx credits. The nearly 600B dollars of costs are starting to pull back. Revenues will again start to increase and deficits will fall.

So will the economy. Government revenue is pulling investment so they can give it to others.

And there you are. That little indicator that "I'm better than you because I do..." Status is so important to a lot of people. Producers would have nothing without the consumers of what they produce. If producing goods or services makes you a good living, great. But don't denigrate good honest labor because without us everything falls apart.
