Savings is at all time low, credit card debt is at all time high and so is credit card default
That's not a good combination for future spending
Plus oils climbing back up again which is going to push inflation back up again

The stock market is controlled by millionaires, billionaires, hedge funds, unions, endowments and big banks. Money flows in and out with little to no valuation in reality, but just the promise that more money is coming. The average Joe gets crumbs. The economy and markets have only marginal influence on each other.
Well we've already had several major Banks fail
And rich people definitely do not like losing their money
