experts are all over the place on this . I saw where one hedge fund loaded up on TSLA this week. I think thats a bit premature but who knows.
Farrell's Rule 8. Bear markets have three stages – sharp down, reflexive rebound, and a drawn-out fundamental downtrend.

Translation: The average individual investor is most bullish at market tops and most bearish at market bottoms. The survey from the American Association of Individual Investors is often cited as a barometer for investor sentiment. In theory, excessively bullish sentiment warns of a market top, while excessively bearish sentiment warns of a market bottom.

Sometimes cash is King
i did fairly well during the last recession moving my 401K into the bond index's . basically tread water with a slight gain while the rest of the market crashed.
to @Up In Smoke's point two year treasury is up around 4 percent. thats nice.

I've seen some experts say if you go cash you miss out on some of the biggest gaining days but I dont know how you cant go cash when you have 7 or 8 down days for every up one.

It's going to be bad for a while especially if they don't get inflation under control

i was alive and old enough to remember the last time inflation went nuts. its a difficult beast to control and the cure is almost as bad as the cause.

jacking up them interest rates at a rapid rate creates other problems. Its like chemotherapy of the economy. It will help you if it does not kill you.
