My sup said if I put in a bid for the feeder side down the road and didn't already have a CDL which I don't, they'd send me to school for it.
Then you will need a pre-CDL drug test and be subject to random testing.

I thought all mechanics did. I learned something today.Times must me changing. I was required to get a CDL.
Best option is to stop doing drugs.Does anybody know the policies on drug testing for package car drivers and loaders? If a driver is involved in an accident are they drug tested and if so is it "one and done" if you fail? If a loader what are grounds to drug test?

We had a package car mechanic fail a random drug test. Never saw him again.I thought all mechanics did. I learned something today.
Depends on how willing you are to go along with the consequences and if you repent well enough. We had a package car mechanic fail a random drug test. Never saw him again.
We had a PE mechanic who failed an alcohol test and when offered a chance to rehabilitate and have his job back refused. Some people would rather be high or drink then have what a well paying job can provide for them.Depends on how willing you are to go along with the consequences and if you repent well enough.

How about when you have to clock in 2 or 3 hours after party time? That's why you get high and drunk when you're not on the clock lol
Then you file a grievance on it. But usually if you don't have to worry about it you just say what is the policy for drug testing? What if OP just has a sup who hates him and is abusing the policy to make OP jump through unnecessary hoops? In other words what if a sup is using a drug test as a form of harassment?
If that is the case it makes most of you come off as whiny self righteous dickheads.
I doubt they would use that as a form of harassment being as costly as it is.Then you file a grievance on it. But usually if you don't have to worry about it you just say what is the policy for drug testing?
Oh yes they would. Do not underestimate some supervisors ability to harass employees with a target on their back.I doubt they would use that as a form of harassment being as costly as it is.

What a Sup do something under handed? Know they have ethics. They would never single a person out and try and get rid of them.
