Yes ACA is the problem. Wish more union workers would realize it.True, but that would of happened in any plan you were in as we get deeper into ACA realm.
I could be wrong, but hasn't that clause that they can take our raises and apply them to healthcare always been there?
You are correct about being wrong.
You too have heard or seen that clause upschuck? If so than what do you have to say now Smurfie? That clause has been in at least the past 2 contracts. Not a penny has been "siphoned" off any year.
It has never been in our contract. UPS was always on the hook for increases in premiums on our old company plans. That post ACA instability was their stated reason for "wanting out of the insurance business".You too have heard or seen that clause upschuck? If so than what do you have to say now Smurfie?

I just cant figure out why. UPS paid billion to get out of the Central states pension plan.Art 34 Sec 4 has been in for a while and has never been used. I have gotten the full raise every year. Check your previous contracts if you do not believe I am telling you the truth. Teamcare is in good health, and new contributions will be based on actual costs in 2016 & 2017, which leaves just 2015, and it is not going south that quickly.
Worry about it if you want, I choose not to.
You better check again Smurfie I just read it in the old contract myself. I was trying to post it but can't.It has never been in our contract. Pension fund will be cheaper than Healthcare down the road?I just cant figure out why. UPS paid billion to get out of the Central states pension plan.
And put us all in the centeral states health care fund???
Huge down grade for me and my family.
Pension fund will be cheaper than Healthcare down the road?
I dont know. but I feel like a $2 whore, after this contract.Pension fund will be cheaper than Healthcare down the road?
At least I have a wife DB. By the way don't forget this month's alimony check.Did you ask your wife to help you with the big words?
Yeah OK. Says the know-it-all.The two are not related. The pension fund buyout was made long before Obamacare.

Did I say they were related?
Neither is it of yours what my wife helps me do or should I say does for me.Not that it's any of your business but I was never ordered to pay alimony.
Alimony is tax deductible. Child support is not.
No you said I did.You inferred that there was a relation between the two, which there clearly is not.
