It isn't considered a waste of money if you can afford it. Some people prefer to not drive junk.Waste of money unless you have a way to write it off.

Illegal in MNIn 2013 a court decision was passed down that retailers could pass on credit card fess up to 4% of the sale. Most bars and restaurants have posted signs and our local newspaper lists the establishments and there corresponding fees.
Nah man. Pull enough out for the week. It always rolls over to the next week. And the can isn't over the sink. It's in a can on my dresser. Built up over the year it pays for things like fantasy football fees, fishing license or good beer. I am never wanting and that is just the way I want it. But you do you. I ain't hatin'. This is just how I do it. I could care less about points.do you keep your money in a coffee can above the sink to
There are good used vehicles with 8-12m miles on them that have factory warranty and make more sense to buy considering the money you leave in the parking lot when you drive that over priced new vehicle off the lot for the first time.It isn't considered a waste of money if you can afford it. My 04 truck and the Wife's 08 van are solid vehicles. I don't want or need a car payment. Ever wonder why junk yards are full of junk? Besides wrecked vehicles, I would rather pay to fix a damn fine vehicle than get a newer one. We don't have to keep up with anybody and we like it that way. A well maintained vehicle will last a very long time. Leaves more money to save/invest.It isn't considered a waste of money if you can afford it. Some people prefer to not drive junk.

It's your money. I couldnt care less if you throw it away...
unless of course, as I said, you can write it off somehow.
To each his own. I have every toy that I've ever wanted and have absolutely no debt. It took many years of living within our means but in the long run it has paid off handsomely. If I won millions in a lottery I would honestly have to think of ways to spend it because at the moment I don't need anything else. I don't consider buying new throwing it away because "you can't take it with you anyway".My 04 truck and the Wife's 08 van are solid vehicles. I don't want or need a car payment. I look at it as when my Wife and I pass on, our Daughter will get the house to do as she pleases. We will enjoy our money with the time we have left. I look at it the same way. My Daughters family can have my property and NICE USED toys and a fairly large pile of gold but in the mean time I'm going to enjoy the fruits of my labor with NICE NEW stuff. That is what it would be like in a perfect world but the sad fact is usually some nursing home usually gets it all the gold in the end.I look at it as when my Wife and I pass on, our Daughter will get the house to do as she pleases. Find a stranger, do some homework, and just make their day. Of course you can do that without much money, but I've alwas wanted to just hand over a crap ton of money to a complete stranger who needs it more than I do.

I know what you mean. My mother in law is getting hit for $8,000 a month. Its a sad situation around here. The 2 nursing homes we have have empty rooms but can't find people to work. For many years its been almost impossible to get a unit here locally because they were always filled up. Now there is room but no workers. It takes a special person to do that job and it don't pay squat.Just moved my father in law into assisted living $9,000 per month

we are working on a living trust right now and I can't stand the thought of leaving the kids so much money. they didnt work for it. and we don't know what to spend it on. don't want or need anything. house is paid off. don't want to take expensive vacations. already live in a beautiful resort area near Lake Tahoe. can't see buying a new $40k vehicle when the 2007 Toyota works so well. don't want a RV that you have to maintain. don't gamble at the Casinos anymore cause that is a no-win.I look at it the same way.
