I agree. And the director even cut those movies down to about 3 hours each from snoozingly long. You would need to be really interested in the trilogy to sit through them repeatedly.

My daughter told me that you had to read the books to really appreciate the movies.

I read all the books in high school . Good stuff, they did a really good job on the movies
