Here's a fact for you. Covid is still out there. More than 100 million in the U.S. aren't vaxxed. Why aren't they all dying? Covid ran its course through them. Current stats are showing the vaxxed are dying in higher than normal numbers than the unvaxxed. In the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia mortality rates are up significantly higher. 5 young healthy doctors just died in July in Toronto. Dropped dead. One was a former Olympian. A pro cyclist just died in Scotland. 37. Dropped dead. And professional journals like "The Lancet" are noticing. Guess what? Some are now blaming it on Trump. They insisted everyone get vaxxed and now that the stats are showing significant increases in mortality rates they're putting it on Trump for rushing it to market.
As far as Florida is concerned it had two things going on that New York didn't. A lot more seniors and a constant wave of tourists coming in from all over. And you're not getting the important point. People would die anyways who were vulnerable. A lot of small businesses were destroyed while big business was still allowed like Walmart. People still caught the highly infectious disease. Sweden ended up a lot less affected because it stayed open. Florida was a lot less affected overall because it opened back up and kids went to school. California, New York, and others still had a lot of deaths in spite of locking down. They didn't prevent a lot more deaths. They just had a lot of deaths and hurt people otherwise.
