Freight City Driver-Phoenix FT

Went in for a interview and not many questions answered. Starting pay not that desirable and no guarantee on even making 40 hours. They advertise Mon-Fri 4am-8pm but was told they run 7 days a week. Is it worth going the long-haul with UPS freight as a city driver? Reviews for the position are horrible

It would be a step down for a few years at minimum. Not being guaranteed 40 scares me. Getting less than 10 hours OT would be a concern also financially.

MGMT tells it hard to new recruits. But the fact is, they are desperate for drivers. Odds are high that you will work more than 50 hours a week if you're flexible & hungry for $$$. When I started 10 yrs ago, I did it all, nights, weekends, late/early starts & the occasional butt kissing. In time, you'll build up your seniority & they end up kissing yours
