Freight winter slow down

What did you guys do when you were new to freight and they didn't have something for you to do everyday and you weren't getting hours?

Bump to dock. Also depending on where you are during the christmas rush small package would rather use a freight driver then hire part time off the street.

It is up here. I know that some of our drivers have gone to Portland and run feeders for them, we also have had a driver run feeder in Spokane for a little bit when they needed the help.

I thought that you were saying that they would be driving package cars or working as helpers.
