In the hub, I'm working until 3:30 Thanksgiving morning, then on Friday working preload for 5 hours, then coming back for my twilight and midnight shifts for another 5.75 hours. 14.25 hours of double time, I am milking that like I work in a dairy.

Your supplement sucks. We only have to work the day before or the day after and yes, I would lose holiday pay to spend the weekend with my family not a big deal. I don’t miss a lot of days.

Our local's negotiated those deals. Other locals don't have to take not getting triple time for black Friday, fight for it.

In Central UPS never did give turkeys for Thanksgiving---it was always for Christmas. One year I got 3 of them.

Yep, it was always closer to Christmas. in the last couple years, they handed out these goofy coupons that you could take to the store and get a free one. I don’t think I ever bothered. Might even still have them lol
