I do appeal to the inspired written tradition handed down by the Apostles the New Testament. If it's something that has come up since that time from men, I will question if God approves of it or not and I will use the 66 books of the Bible to do it. If the Apostles did it, if they taught it, and practiced it, I have every right and obligation to do the same. No more or less.
