on the other hand if you lose your job consider yourself lucky and go lay on a florida beach.
WHAT?i was in a rush and signed for pkgs instead of putting emergency conditions, I DON'T KNOW WTF I WAS THINKING... I deserve it though if they don't give me my job back. I didnt even realize what i had done until the next morning when the dispatch asked about the pkgs saying they were delivered to building...epic fail
Your last sentence indicates you have in fact done this before.I toldem i screwed up, they asked me how many other times i signed for pkgs.. none... I feel like such an idiot i keep making the same mistake...
Come on now you're being too hard on the guy. Haven't you ever been in a rush and mistakenly signed for packages that you weren't even going to deliver?WHAT?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you often sign for customers? That's the only way I could see making that mistake.
I'm sure you'll be back. I've seen guys come back that signed for customers high values that got stolen.I toldem i screwed up, they asked me how many other times i signed for pkgs.. none... I feel like such an idiot i keep making the same mistake...
Signature on file means you do a SDN and punch in the name.Only time I sign for pkgs is for sof signature on file pkg at ibm
Only time I sign for pkgs is for sof signature on file pkg at ibm
even that is riskyNEVER sign any name other than your own to your diad. EVER.
thats the way i was trained to do it on that route and thats what the note says when u scan a pkg for that address.Signature on file means you do a SDN and punch in the name.
I'm assuming you're fairly new?
You were trained wrong. Never ever ever ever sign for the board for a delivery.thats the way i was trained to do it on that route and thats what the note says when u scan a pkg for that address.
I knew i'd get trolled if i posted, but I deserve it, its healthy feedback, and I'll learn my lesson..
Good thing he wasn't in a hurry or he might have somehow signed for them by mistake, then he'd really be in trouble....had a guy in the building get a 5 day suspension for EC'ing 50 stops while idling. 10 degrees out.
