Amazing, I make a statement of truth, and you attribute it to getting drunk and watching Red Dawn, choose to believe what you will, if confiscation was ever attempted in this country, and that is the final act of the lefts play, the bloodshed of the Civil War would look like a monthly menstrual cycle. I'm certain it won't happen though in anyone who is reading this lifetime.
Confiscation is not going to happen. Don’t know why you insist on such fantasies.

Inordinately Right
Oh my God! You’re one of those who get drunk, put “Red Dawn” in the VCR and spend the next two hours aroused, aren’t you?

Yes. I get it.

And if the solution to protecting second amendment gun rights and kids is paying to have armed, trained guards in every public school in America, I think that’s worth it.
WOLVERINES!!!!
lol
the remake actually wasn't bad
i mean, it's no dirty dancing but it's dirty enough.

relax, let them have their wet dreams, it keeps them docile.

Why would it surprise me? You agreed with me. I’m trying to get to a solution that hasn’t been tried since no other suggestion can get any consensus. I would expect you to agree with me.
You posted something along those lines last week, I saw it, genuine or not, I have no clue. You never expected anything close to this come from me. I do have other suggestions, and limitations on firearms is not included. there will be no national consensus, individual states and school districts will have to forge their plans, and that is a good thing.

Of course it’s genuine. There is no path to banning assault weapons for progressives. Conservatives point to mental health problems but consistently cut funding for mental health programs. Where does that leave us? In exactly the same place and we can’t afford that.

So the path forward I suggest is neither cheap nor without it’s own problems seems to me to the most direct path.

My guess would be that the federal and state governments would put together some very rigorous standards and pay extremely good money to private security agencies. Add to that strict oversight and constant training and I think we’re on our way.

Would be simple to control people coming into a school building.

My 90 year old mother.... asked this very question.

How did he get in ?

In my area, you have to go through layers of security.

Constant video surveillance, and even producing ID (which they hold)

until you leave. These aren't some sort of inner city schools.

I might have just answered my own question.

Could be as simple, as a money problem.

He set off a fire alarm from outside. Plenty of doors were then open with people evacuating.

I've got a path you may agree with also, pertaining funding, probably a hill you don't want to climb though

If you don’t like the “Necessary and Proper” clause, the “Commerce Clause” is probably in effect as well.
No. Both of those clauses are being abused. I like that you pointed them out to me though.
I don’t see how interstate commerce applies to drug policy, police, firefighters, or really anything else. Besides interstate commerce.
