Half Empty? NFL

Fred's Myth

No. 25% is roughly the percentage of NFL fans who care one way or another about players kneeling. That number is probably somewhat inflated.

So maybe 12% of those people are upset with Nike entering the fray. Maybe 6% will never, ever buy Nike ever again.

Nike will make that up and more from other sports.

If you can refrain from being an ass, maybe comprehension won’t be outside you ability.
NFL diehards are calling offside on the league over players’ anthem protests, a new poll has found.

Thirty percent of self-described “fans of the NFL” say they are watching less football this season, and more than half blame players protesting racism by kneeling during the national anthem, according to the Seton Hall Sports Poll, conducted by The Sharkey Institute.
Of those watching fewer games, 52 percent said it was because they disagreed with the protests.

Six percent said they were boycotting games in solidarity with kneeling players.

The issue has become a flashpoint for Americans since President Trump said on Sept. 22 that NFL team owners should fire “son of a bitch” anthem protesters, and then spent the weekend waging war against the league in a flurry of tweets.

On that front, 28 percent of fans said they agreed with the president, while 55 percent said that they backed the league. The remaining 17 percent did not pick a side, the survey found.

Just 38 percent of fans said they actually support players who kneel, suggesting not all of the of the people backing the league against Trump actually like the players’ protests.

So according to that poll only 15% of fans are watching "less" because of the protests.

Less, meaning, they're probably still watching anyways. Guess it's not that important to them....

The majority of people who would be upset are old overweight couch potatoes. It's not like they're buying athletic apparel anyways.

I'm older. I sit on the couch.
My BMI is perfect. I walk 10 miles each mon. wed. fri...bike 30 miles on tues & thur.
I buy lots of athletic apparel as does my wife, kids, and grandkids.
I'm not upset. He's just an idiot. And Nike's move is a stupid one.
What I do think about is how many idiots don't think he's an idiot.

You're an idiot and know nothing about what I have done and you know nothing about scripture.
you can just lay it out instead of dishonest generalities.

so for example in the last year i donated $5000 which was matched and doubled. so that was 3 years or donations all at once. and that excludes the $150 or watever donation i was doing every month up till then. i went to a pipeline protest. cut back on animal food. did a bunch of online reviews. gave my disabled friend a bunch of stuff.

Wow man..you're heaven bound.... You know nothing about scripture.

It’s like reading Jesus himself.
--''Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”-- Matthew 15: 12
You know nothing about scripture. Jesus "offended" people everyday. People a lot like you who can't handle truth.
