Gets what? Don't take a knee during the anthem. That will never change.

and best of all if your "so called protest" is about Donald Trump then despite the ambiguous reasons of social Justice you try to claim the fact remains you are kneeling for political reasons.

what any Military person should know though some have forgotten is the ceremony that is being protested is a direct disrespect to the flag.

during that process in at least one stadium the colors are presented by a military honor guard. when those colors which include our flag are presented the ceremony is specifically designed to show respect to that flag and all those who died for it and the country it represents.

any form of protest during that ceremony is a direct disrespect to that flag. It is claimed to not be intended to be but it is and thus why this is such a political loser for anyone who disrespects the flag but denies intending to do so.

one of my favorite arguments in this debate will be the one that's show some veteran who says he is not offended by the this disrespect. This veteran is then used as a surrogate to promote the pro protest argument. He may not be offended but he does not have the right or authority to absolve you of your disrespect to the flag.

Nice pic, you must agree about standing. Raising a fist, linking arms, picking your nose, hand over your heart... idc just get off your :censored2: unless you can't physically stand.

linking arms is also a disrespect and some football teams got that message. you can stand with your hand over your heart or stand and salute if you are in uniform or a veteran. that is your two options. The ravens who performed the double disrespect of doing so on foreign soil got the message this week and stood their with their hands over their hearts. of course they had to puss out and do the before anthem protest kneel to appease the 12 percent of this nation who think our entire focus should always be on them at all times.

At this point it's obvious a protest against trump. Sad to see so many people being misled.

you ask any of them what the protest is about and they can't give you a clear message. when you then ask them detailed questions you get the "oh you wouldn't understand" answer as if there is some higher meaning available to only a few of the chosen.

what galls me is some actually try to compare Kapernick to the greats who fought racism or prejudice in the past. Good luck promoting that idiot as your modern day MLK

They got the right to protest...OFF THE FIELD when they're not working. NBA has the right idea.
