I think it's great this guy doesn't see racism against african americans, where he lives, in tuscon arizona. That's fantastic. Not sure why he thinks his personal experience is applicable to people in baltimore, or chicago, or st. louis though. Seems kind of self centered.

My point is systematic racism is an isolated issue. Most police departments are serving their citizens just fine. The justice department started investigations into multiple police departments across the country, so that we could address these issues openly and come to a solution that these specific affected communities could embrace.
Trump's attorney general canceled that directive. Racism doesn't exist to Trump. Everything is honkey dorey. Just a bunch of liberal criminal crybabies. And people wonder why there's a big uproar.... things are not perfect, we were striving for things to be better. Now the leader of the country wants to sweep it back under the rug.

Point is there's departments that were, with good reason, under investigation by the department of justice for violating the civil rights of the citizens they were supposed to be protecting. Trump's administration cancelled that agenda. I think it's great race relations in Tucson are going well for this guy, but it seems a little off point in the grand scheme of things.

Many departments were under investigations for good reason. It's not always about individual cases, it's about a pattern of abuse of power and violation of civil rights. There's nothing wrong with looking into it. Trump's AG cancelled it all, wants to just sweep it under the rug and pretend it doesn't exist.

Agree ... I live in Atlanta which is run by African Americans and the population where I live is probably 50% AA.
It's hard for me to relate and understand some of the stuff y'all post on here about racism.
I see more racism against Whites than against AA ... yes, I'm serious.
