Everyone sees what they want to see.

I was basically asking the same question of Mak, "Why me and not you?" SMH

It's already very well established that he only sees what he wants to see ... just like Trump.
Because for a lot of white Americans when it comes to racism ignorance is bliss. Most don't want to see hear or talk about it.

7 miles from Atlanta city limits but a sparsely populated area due to 5 acre minimum lots since it is in a public water source.
About 1/2 mile from Chattahoochee River and 1/8 mile from a reservoir.

Agree ... I live in Atlanta which is run by African Americans and the population where I live is probably 50% AA.
It's hard for me to relate and understand some of the stuff y'all post on here about racism.
I see more racism against Whites than against AA ... yes, I'm serious.
It makes a lot of sense to me. If I was black I'd be in prison right now. I'm certain I wouldn't have gotten the leeway I did when I was younger. I was stopped by police in my car and would not have walked away free and clear if I were black.

I employ a fair number of black people now and the culture is very different in regards to what behavior they feel comfortable with. I can walk through a warehouse, open a dock door myself and walk into an office for a signature. My black drivers wouldn't even consider acting like they own the place like that, and they wouldn't be well received if they did. They've been yelled at just for walking on people's property.

I understand where they're coming from, but don't have any real solution for it.

SGT. Thomas R. Pope, a combat wounded amputee, prepares for his last flight in an HH-53E "Jolly Green". He walked on his own to the chopper, missing a leg, on crutches with his M16 slung over his back.

Most people who see racism everywhere they look are the worst racists themselves.
That's kind of a stupid statement. If I asked whom you were talking about I would guess you'd give Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson as examples? The fact that they point out clear examples of racism makes them racist? Or is it that the only time you ever pay attention to anything they say, the topic centers around race? Because I know for a fact both have spoken extensively on social justice. Or is it your "non-racist" position that social justice is just code for race?

Besides, is racism insists that one race is superior to others races (something the David Dukes and @Monkey Butt s of th world say) I don't think I've ever heard such utterances from Sharpton or Jackson. Certainly you aren't saying that demanding to be treated equally doesn't make one racist, does it?
