Every now and then it works. Maybe the Eagles are thinking about Jason Peters. He was an undrafted rookie free agent who got his chance playing special teams. But he was also a 6'5", 330 lb guy with a 32" vertical leap, and grew into one of the best tackles in football.
What's perverted about it? They're grown women who are eager to marry older Americans. Happens all the time.

Different culture, different values. Older Filipino men marry younger women all the time too. In a country slightly larger than AZ with over 100 million population and a 70% poverty rate, women ask first if a man can take care of them. And they rarely get divorced. They're raised to take care of their husbands and to help their parents get by. Marrying an older American insures they can help their parents. It may be hard for you to get your mind around but much of the world doesn't see sex as just the hottest bodies getting together nor do they have the high divorce rate we have. Slam me all you want, I didn't create the situation, just telling you how it is. And the largest Social Security office in the world outside of the U.S. is attached to our embassy in Manila. There are many thousands of young U.S. citizens receiving benefits long after their American fathers have passed away. Apparently you think those young women should just live in poverty rather than marry an older Westerner. Now if you want to talk about child molesters preying on children in Southeast Asia I agree with you, absolutely disgusting. But a 19 year old who is fully grown and is hoping very much that the American man over there is noticing her has the right to make that choice and if he marries her and provides for her he's giving her a better life than she would've ever had otherwise and she's happy he did.
