No, actually it is not, please note the amount of platforms the draft was available on and the extent of social media today. To just note one draft year, 1979, if the same availabilty was possible, the numbers would have blown these away. I however do note you look forward to the demise of the NFL, but hope cte is the nail in the coffin.
Hey did you see the 20 year old Samoan kid from Australia? Never played American football but played rugby. Got picked up by a team, forget which one, just for his potential. He's 6'8", 346 lbs, all muscle, and athletic! I really want to see this kid turn into a total monster on the field, would be awesome.

Didn't Philly draft him? Very raw talent but a lot of potential.

It will be fine

The Eagles drafted him. His highlights are hilarious, just running down field knocking dudes over left and right.

Actually I haven't, I'm one of the nasty ole guy's that ate, drank, and slept the NFL, but in the current climate have lost most of my interest. When MLB leaves me I'll have serious concerns to deal with. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though, I'll check him out.

Niners tried that with one of Australia's biggest rugby stars, Jarryd Hayne. His talent didn't transfer very well to the NFL. It will be a project for Philly to teach this kid the game and techniques to be successful in the NFL.

You're probably right but he definitely has potential. I wonder if he had tried to get on a college team?

Most of those rugby players are built like NFL linebackers but he's a lot bigger. If he can move like a linebacker he would be unstoppable.
They hit pretty hard without pads so he's used to the punishment. Don't think he's quite fast enough to play linebacker but definitely a lineman. How about a giant fullback? :)

Know absolutely nothing about this guy but agree with your assessment.
It's nothing personal against the guy, but it is the NFL, the greatest, most physical specimens, with talent. Just an opinion.
