maybe the owners are concerned about the drop in viewership and loss of advertising revenue, ticket sales and merchandise sales all driven by partriotic fans. I'm sorry but that may be one of the dumbest things you've said here.

The "black power salute" and the football players kneeling all seem to occur in front of a captive audience and on national and international TV. I'm guessing viewership could exceed 200,000 viewers.
Wouldn't their efforts be more effective if they visited their senators, representatives and lawmakers to lobby for "equality"?
