you libs keep trying to spin the issue some other way . its not a political correctness thing.

its an actual ceremony designed to specifically honor the flag , our country and those who died in defense of such.
where its become political is with libs like yourself trying to make it such.
It’s a time to remind ourselves that we are able to be there because of others sacrifices. That inspite of our differences, we are still unified.

Then we put the gloves on and beat the crap out of each other

You cons made it political as soon as the president entered the mess.

during this ceremony

we present the colors of the united states by honor guard.
in our case they are Vietnam vets that have served honorably
the anthem is played or sung
all are required to stand either with hands at side or across your heart. Military or law enforcement or prior military may choose to salute.
we then honer that flag , the country it represents and all those that died in defense of said flag and country.

it is a formal ceremony for that expressed purpose.

anything other then standing proudly as described above is disrespect.
to intentionally kneel during that ceremony clearly means you are intentionally disrespecting that flag, our country and those that died for it.
since people of color also died for that flag then your disrespect also disrespects their sacrifice.

How many NFL players were there and which team won?

It will be fine

Who’s gonna tell Trump not a single Eagles player took a knee during the anthem all year? What a tool. If you’re still buying this faux outrage, you might want to examine your decision making.

ah hem hate to correct your ignorance well maybe not , but it had nothing to do with their kneeling or not and everything to do with certain babies on that team deciding they were going to snowflake out of going. Trump disinvited them for that reason.

So the ones that wanted to go need to give the snowflakes an earful.

So Trump got his feelings hurt because no one wanted to go to his party so he canceled the whole thing. Poor baby. Perhaps you didn’t read his statement, it’s was entirely about the anthem.

Actually it happens every year that players boycott the White House ceremony. Possible that more Eagles were going to than in previous years, but we do have a polarizing president.

trumps doing it right. its an honor to be invited to the white house in recognition of your ability to play a kids game. if you're going to disrespect that invitation for political reasons then that invitation should be rescinded.

the players who thought they were going to grandstand here only screwed those Eagles who wanted to go.
Despite their ability to catch a football those grandstanding Eagles still don't understand what it means to be a part of the team and do whats good for the team.

its why we have this debate in the first place because those idiots do not understand what it means to be part of team USA and always respect our flag, country and the hero's that died for both.

no more so then the last one. This president has decided that he will not allow any disrespect to our institutions and that message is now clearly out there.

Tom Brady didn’t go. Think he knows something about being part of team? Trump is just a petty child that took his ball and went home when the other kids were mean to him.

At least FOX news had enough decency to apologize for lying about this:
“During our report about President Trump canceling the Philadelphia Eagles’ trip to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win, we showed unrelated footage of players kneeling in prayer,” said Christopher Wallace, Executive Producer of Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream in a statement. “To clarify, no members of the team knelt in protest during the national anthem throughout regular or post-season last year. We apologize for the error.”

Trump on the other hand...
