Conceding the possibility that the actual intent was to shed light on a perceived injustice, the most effective method of communicating that concept isn't to perform an obnoxious display. Kap poked a stick at the Tiger (Americans), and is dumbfounded that he got mauled. In a show of confused solidarity, his companions poked their own stick....same result. Their message was lost because their forum was inappropriate. It offended. If such was their intent, they succeeded profoundly. But if the true intent was social justice transformation, they failed miserably. They displayed a gross lack of perception of the consequences of their actions.

Maybe trump will be given an honorary military uniform and get to have a little Egyptian-style strongman thing going on? Could then have as many military parades as he wanted and openly talk to Shawn and daddy Vladimir any time of day. Not just before bedtime.

Who’s the current VA secretary? Here’s a hint, he fired the old one with no replacement plan, then appointed the first doctor he saw walking around, he let that drag on for 8 weeks and recently just picked some guy from DOD. It’ll be 4-5 months with no director at the VA, a department that is totally screwed up. Yes, Trump cares for veterans so much he jacked up the department that is tasked with their care with no plan to fix it. That wasn’t 50 years ago, that’s the here and now.

In the U.S. the military shows it's support by voting for presidents who support them. But make no mistake about it, their loyalty is to the Constitution, as it should be.
