I basically took care of my daughter for the first two years (my wife worked evenings) and she turned out just fine.
There was that one time when we lost her while we were in the mall. She had found the escalator and wandered up to the second floor. We found here after the most frantic 15 minutes of our lives. We then went and bought her a leash.
