This guy gives little to no information. We are supposed to guess an answer to a cryptic information.
He wants to take family bonding time and thinks he is qualified because he just got married.
Bonding paperwork they said I didn't have the "right paperwork". Sent them marriage certificate and paperwork from the state department.
Getting married isn't the same as adopting and doesn't automatically make him the parent. He needs to legally adopt his wife's kid and then he can take family bonding time. If his wife was knocked up by some other dude before the wedding and just gave birth to a baby that he is going to be a primary caregiver for then possibly he could get FMLA without adopting.

I got one of those. But always remember to verify things. There is a reason it says 5th edition. Things change. Too many think those things are black and white. Seen people get in hot water over those books for that very reason.
If Derrek is as good as reading comprehensively as he is at articulating himself he should probably definitely verify things 😃
